Although courtyard gardens tend to be small they can also result in a lovely place to rest and cultivate plants. For this project, we wanted to create a structure for the whole space, just like you would in a room inside the house.

At Moruzzi Landscapes, we tend to see a lot of courtyard gardens that are frequently dark and overshadowed by nearby structures. For this client we wanted to keep the space warm and protected, enabling them to grow a diverse selection of intriguing and more delicate plants.

While it may be tempting to pack as many plants as possible into a small space, you must restrict the plant species and materials utilised to produce a clean, uncluttered aesthetic. We love the finish of the dark grey paving in this garden design it flows effortlessly with the surrounding property.
